Louise Manning


Founder Louise Manning started her career working within HM Revenue & Customs thereby gaining a thorough understanding of how the department thinks and works together with a broad education in various aspects of taxation. After several years she decided to join the opposition and continued her career with Ernst & Young before moving to Grant Thornton. She founded the firm in 1990 and now sits on a forum, known as Working Together, bringing operational problems and taxpayer issues to the attention of HMRC. In this role she has attended various meetings at HM Treasury – and a “round table” meeting at 11 Downing Street. She specialises in private client work and unincorporated businesses.


Clare Auger


Clare Auger joined the firm's accounts department in 2010, having worked in accounting practice for over eighteen years. She has a vast experience of all aspects of accounts preparation and bookkeeping, and has worked with many types of businesses of different sizes from sole-traders and partnerships through to small and medium-sized owner-managed companies. She is married with two young children.


Kelly Duncan


Kelly Duncan joined us in August 2011 from a multi-national accounting practice in London where she specialised in expatriate tax. She deals with all aspects of personal taxation, including compliance, enquiries by HM Revenue & Customs and some consultancy work. Kelly is a qualified Member of the Association of Taxation Technicians. In her spare time she also enjoys tap dancing, karate and reading.


Ian Fielder


A Chartered Tax Adviser and member of the Association of Taxation Technicians with 20 years experience, Ian spends part of the week in our Havant office and part in the Petersfield office. He spent 5 years working for HM Revenue and Customs, gaining an insight into the workings of HMRC as well as a good basis in personal tax.  He then went to work for a small practice with an agricultural bias, before moving on to Rothmans where he moved into corporate tax and personal tax planning.   He has gained experience in most areas of personal, trust and corporate taxation and can also advise on HMRC Enquiries, PAYE and VAT. 


Penny Gowing


Penny is responsible for the company's administration and filing. After gaining a degree in Modern Languages and European Studies, Penny joined a London firm of barristers as their Fees Clerk. She has experience in telecommunications and also human resources. Penny is married with two young daughters.

Helen Drummond


Helen is the newest member of our accounts team having joined in 2015.  As well as preparing accounts she also has experience of payroll.



David Mattingley


David joined the accounts departments after his move to Hampshire in October 2012, having worked as an Accounts Assistant for a Cornish accountancy practice for over five years. He specialises in preparing accounts for everything from sole-traders to small companies and is Xero Certified. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling, geocaching and travelling the length and breadth of England ringing at different church towers. He is a Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians.


Jane Gill


Jane Gill is a Chartered Tax Adviser with over 20 years’ experience, specialising in all areas of personal tax compliance.  She started her career at HM Revenue & Customs, qualifying as a Tax Inspector, before changing sides to join Clark Whitehill and later Hughes Spencer.  Jane is married with two teenage children.


Georgina Minty


Georgina Minty joined Cox Manning in 2013 after moving from London to Surrey and is our client bookkeeping supervisor. Previously self-employed she has 6 years’ experience dealing with all aspects of bookkeeping for a variety of companies. She is qualified in Sage and Xero certified and can help you regain control of your financial paperwork. She is married and in her spare time enjoys taking advantage of being a National Trust member by going for walks and bike rides.


Chris Lambert


Chris has been in accounting for two years and has a wide knowledge of different bookkeeping and payroll software systems. He is currently your first port of call with payroll queries. In his own time he enjoys travelling the world with his wife, the building and playing of guitars of all shapes and sizes and water sports.


Paul New


Paul joined Rothmans in the Petersfield office in January 2015 as a Director. He started his career in public practice in 2004 and has since worked in a number of senior positions in financial and commercial positions within industry. He is a general practitioner who specialises in financial reporting for both statutory and management purposes and general business guidance. Paul Lives in Denmead with his wife and two sons and is a keen follower of sport and music.


Elouise Saunders


Born and educated in Zimbabwe Elouise gained her AAT qualification in the UK. Currently working in our outsourcing department she deals with client payrolls and bookkeeping on a daily basis. Elouise is married and her interests outside of work include reading and painting, playing both tennis and squash, cycling and long distance running.
